Phil Casey

Phil Casey

I was born in Kingston, Ontario, and later lived in Montreal, Toronto, and London. I attended Lower Canada College and Crescent School before entering Huron College at the University of Western Ontario. At Huron College, I studied English, History, and Philosophy. I received my M.A. in history from Western in 1995, focusing on the history of scientific theories. In 2000, I graduated from Western's Law School with the Borden and Elliot Award in Constitutional Law.

In 2000, I articled with Procter Cameron in Belleville, Ontario where I learned the basics of many diverse areas of law. After being called to the Bar, I established my private practice in Kingston.

I am a member of the Ontario Prison Lawyers Association and the Ontario Criminal Lawyers Association.
